Volunteer
MOCA is powered entirely by volunteers who share a passion for preserving Maine's historic cemeteries and the stories they tell. Whether you're interested in researching cemetery records, documenting Revolutionary War Patriot burials, helping with workshops and events, serving on a committee, contributing technical or administrative skills, or working hands-on in the field, there is a place for you to make a meaningful difference.
Volunteering with MOCA is an opportunity to preserve Maine's history, learn new skills, and work alongside others who value cemetery stewardship, genealogy, local history, and historic preservation. Whether you have a few hours to give or are looking for a long-term role, we invite you to explore the opportunities below and become part of the statewide community that has supported MOCA's mission for more than fifty years.
