Board Meeting - Organizational

The Maine Old Cemetery Association’s Board of Directors Organizational Meeting will be held Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 6:30 PM Eastern Time via Zoom.

Revised Bylaw — Article V, Section 3

The following provision was adopted by the Board and became effective September 7, 2026:

The Board of Directors shall meet for an Organizational Meeting following the Annual Meeting to elect officers, approve the annual budget, and address committee matters as required by these bylaws.

The Organizational Meeting shall be called by the current President, or if unavailable, the Vice President or another officer designated by the Board, and shall be held prior to the end of the calendar year.

Proposed Agenda

1. Call to Order

• Roll call and confirmation of a quorum.
• Approval of the agenda.

2. Election of Officers

• President
• Vice President
• Treasurer
• Recording Secretary
• Membership Secretary

Nominations and voting for positions due for election or requiring a vacancy to be filled.

3. Annual Budget

• Presentation of the proposed annual budget.
• Board discussion and any proposed revisions.
• Vote to approve the annual budget.

Committee Matters

• Review current committees and their responsibilities.
• Appoint or reappoint committee chairs.
• Address committee membership and any proposed establishment or disbanding of committees or task forces.
