  • 8:30 — 9:15 Registration $3.00 per person at the door. Proceeds benefit the Waterboro Cemetery Committee and MOCA. Coffee and blueberry muffins provided by the Waterboro Cemetery Committee.
  • 8:30 — 12:00 Exhibits, Displays, Cemetery Projects If you have a cemetery project and wish to share the information with others, please bring a display board, photos, or other related materials. Tables will be available to set up displays.
  • 9:15 — 9:20 Welcome/Announcements Welcome—Angela Tibbetts, Waterboro Cemetery Committee and MOCA Vice President Announcements—Jessica Couture, MOCA President
  • 9:20 - 9:30 A needle in the haystack:  Finding images of coffins on early gravestones in Maine.  A short talk by Ron Romano about the two markers he has found in Maine with coffin carvings, both dated 1807.
  • 9:30 — 10:00 Local Veterans Jeannie Grant will talk about Waterboro area veterans.
  • 10:00 — 10:15 Break
  • 10:15 — 11:00 MOCA Business Meeting (All are welcome to attend)
  • 11:00 — 12:00 Moving a Cemetery - James Pate from Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home
  • 12:00 — 1:00 Lunch $10. Woody’s Sports Grill will be providing pork, chicken, potato salad, coleslaw and dinner rolls.

    LUNCH RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED by Thursday, May 10. Reservations and payments may be made by clicking the REGISTER button or contact Jessica Couture at couturejess@gmail.com or 649-6161. 
  • 1:00 Tour of Town House Cemetery Located behind the Waterboro Town Hall, 24 Townhouse Road, East Waterboro.

    Information will be shared about the lives of several veterans buried in this cemetery. Door prize drawing at the conclusion of the cemetery tour.
