President of the National Slate Association, Tim Underhill, will speak on the unique quality of Monson slate, the value of slate for headstones, and the current state of the slate industry.

Lunch provided by the Monson Historical Society.
Turkey, ham, potato salad, pasta salad, fresh vegetables, beverages, and assorted desserts.

Guided by Estella Kronhom Bennett and Glenn Poole. The Historical Society Museum will also be open from 9:00 until 3:00 (later if necessary). A tour of the Sheldon Slate Company will be scheduled for 3:00 pm.
