Project Description

After particapating in a MOCA workshop in Wilton ME, I have been working on ancient cemeteries in Dresen. The past couple years I have been working on restoration and preservation of some of the 52 ancient cemeteries here in Dresden Maine. Some are small while others have 20+ graves. I am learning so much history about our town and the people that helped settle this area which includes Dresden, Wiscasset, and Alna, and was called Pownalborough until these towns became incorporated in 1794.
